Youth Plants
Globe's two plants are located in a very well equipped and administrated Yang Mei Youth Industrial Park with easy access to Chung Shang highway and CKS int'l airport. Surrounded by green environment, both are company's property. Youth Plant I land area has approximately 2595 m2 and built area 2057 m2. Youth plant II land area has approximately 3229 m2 and built area 3807 m2.

The entire production process is highly effective due to its automation. There are equipments such as rubber mixing mills, adhesive blenders, coating machines, cutting and slitting machines, fully automatic slitting machines and packaging machines. The whole production process follows a strict production standard starting from raw material inspection, film forwarding, coating, drying, rewinding, cutting, packaging and finally storing.

To follow our quality policy: "Quality tops all and everyone participates to Pursue excellence", Globe positively takes into action all kinds of quality activities to carry out full-scale quality control goals. With each examination and testing following our rigid standards, Globe also accomplishes its quality control system. Globe has also been recognized by the National Dept. of Defense as its qualified provider.

Globe Industries Corporation has been making great efforts on research & development. The R&D department, in charge of developing new products as well as improving the existing products, also designs and improves the functions of production equipments. They are continuously introducing highly accurate chemical analyzing equipments, such as FTIR Spectrophotometer, Moony viscometer, Universal Tension Tester (Instron), etc.
   
For over the years, Globe has been successfully developing diverse kinds of tapes, which are widely applied in many different walks of life. Many or our products have achieved Chinese standard CNS, American UL, Canadian CSA etc. Globe proudly earned ISO 9002 and became one of the few members among 60 adhesive makers in Taiwan to get this honor in 1995.

To assume responsibilities towards a better society, Globe has been doing its best to protect the environment by investing in related equipments. Well-trained professionals take charge of environmental affairs to minimize the volume of wastes. We carefully source environment-friendly materials and recycling equipments to promote new green-color, environment-friendly products as well as strive to get ISO 14000, the international environment protection standard.

To satisfy the needs of the electronic and communication fields, as well as 21st century's demands of environmental protection, Globe has been reinforcing its technology in developing more profitable high-tech products, and has also been working closely with ITRI (Industrial Technology Research Institute) to research and develop emulsion adhesive formulas. At the same time, our Mechanical & Electrical Engineering Department has made great efforts in the improvements of the production lines specialized in manufacturing emulsion tapes.

The economic scale of mass production in both plants allows Globe to lower down its production costs reinforcing its position in the market competition. The monthly production capacity of over 14 million m2 enables to take big orders as well as small and diversified special orders.
